I can't get to that link for the RAM. Is it DDR2 667 or DDR2 800 RAM?

I'm getting a new ASUS motherboard tomorrow myself, the ASUS P5Q Deluxe you may want to consider one of that series if you are sticking with DDR2 Ram

It's DDR2 1066. So it's better lol.

As for the mobo, I've used Gigabyte and Asus boards with Intel CPUs recently and haven't had a problem. If you're building a rig for gaming, you might just want to use a dual-core as a quad really won't get utilized unless you're doing things like video editing or 3d modeling.

if you want to heavily overclock go with the x38 or x48 if you can afford it. If you just want to mildly overclock go with a p35 and by mild i mean around 3.4ish. the x38 and definitely x48 have been known to get that processor to around 4ghz.

I just got my P5Q Deluxe board which has the P45/ICH10R chipset, time will tell how it OC's, so far I am having trouble setting up Crossfire, it is not clear to me at least.
