I've haven't called customer support in my life. I've always prefered to figure everything out my self.

To me customer support is like the user manual, you only use it if everything else fails even then you a relutant to go to those measures.

You're so lucky...I am not always that fortunate to be able to do that myself. I've learned a lot along the way though, mostly by trial and error :yesnod:

I've always found that figuring everything yourself is the best. Since you learn alot on the way and you will also beable to fix the prob yourself instead of calling for tech support. Also it just feels better having solved a prob yourself.

MSI

...nothing but praise for MSI boards.
Haven't needed support. But with any problems I can't fix by myself and through forums like this I usually visit my local PC shop (a small one-man operation in the suburbs). I buy most of my stuff through this shop and thus develope a "good customer" status with the owner. He then usually helps out with any advise on problems....

started out with an MSI 815E pro... and cerleron 600
moved to a gigabyte board and AMD 2400, but had too many hardware problems (very unstable), ran out of patience to solve the problems so...

moved onto a P4 MSI board 6728 865PE....with absolutely no stability issues.
