Windows Vista Build 5259

Two versions of Windows Vista Build 5259 were leaked to the Internet. These leaked builds are far from complete with many features not fully functional and are not intended for public use.

Microsoft has not released this build via MSDN nor via MS Connect and it not a CTP Build. They have released a TAP build, only to participants of the Technology Advancement Program who are bound by a strict NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). This build has a file date and version number of 051117-1715.

Another compilation of Build 5259 has also been leaked with file date ad version number of 051113-2100.

We regard these as having been illegally leaked and in terms of our usual policy in such matters, do not encourage the use of software acquired in this manner and do not permit the discussion thereof at PROnetworks.

Members are therefore requested not to post enquiries about this build or request support on any aspect of this version of Windows Vista.

Only genuine requests for assistance from a member who has installed this build, and needs help to remove Windows Vista Build 5259 from their system will be considered.

Windows Vista Build 5231 (Leaked Version)

Windows Vista Build 5231 was leaked to the Internet a day or two ago. The leaked build has the following file name: vista_usa_5231.050912-2020_x86fre_win-dvd.iso

Microsoft has not officially released this build via MSDN nor via MS Connect.

This leaked build is not complete and has many deficiencies. Some of the files included in the leaked build have been reported to be tampered with and altered. The leaked Build 5231 is therefore regarded as falling into the category of WAREZ.

We do not encourage the use of WAREZ and do not permit the discussion thereof at PROnetworks. Members are therefore requested not to post enquiries about this build or request support on any aspect of this leaked version of Windows Vista Build 5231.

Only genuine requests for assistance from a member who has installed this build, and needs help to recover their system will be considered
