Spysweeper Authorizations Methods

Just thought I would let some of you know about how Spysweeper authorizes its software.

The OEM key you enter from the box or vendor you purchased your software from generates a child key. You need to record this child key for future reference.

If you have to do a complete "clean" reinstall and try to use the orginal OEM it will not work. You will have to use the child OEM key to get your woftware authorized without calling Webroot.

You may be asking how I know this, I have sold well over 100 Spysweeper to customers. I have had a few run arounds with this numbering system they have.

You can find your child OEM key in version 4.5 by clicking on "Home", the older versions reflect the OEM key in the "About"
