Yeah, some people also complain that along with that Visual Studio is becoming a lot like FrontPage. ASP.net was designed to help you type 80% less code (it does the rest for you in the background), but on the other hand you can't see very much of what its really doing anymore.

Very true, in fact many of the functions of 2005 are straight out of frontpage, it was hard to tell which was which at one point
