Proliant 1600 Doc's/Drivers/Utilities for XP?

Hello, I have a Proliant 1600 that was given to me. This is the 6/350 version. Anyway, didn't come with any of the software, disks, manuals or anything. I understand that as far as manuals OS doesn't matter much. But here lies my problem. I want to make sure all my drivers, firmware, and utilities that are available. When I go to HP's site to download stuff there is a bunch of differant things to get, but there is no Windows XP option on the list of supported OS's. Is this something that I should bump this thing back to 2000 or would I be able to install these on XP without a hitch. I'm not really looking for any maybe's or IMHO's on this one. Was hoping maybe someone else has encountered this specific situation. Thanks in advance, all help is appreciated.
