How do I find out what CD disc I have?
I inherited a tower of blank CDs.
Both sides blank, ie no label side.
Only writing on it is E101L A 1 0311172317- 93743 written around the spindle hole.
I wrote audio files on one side but the other side seems unwriteable.
Is it write on one side and it kills the other or just cheapo ones not showing which is the "A" or "B" side?

I think CD's can only be written on one side, I don't have any that can be written on both, and don't recall seeing any that can be, even dual layer DVD's are only written on one side.

TBH I have never seen a double sided one.
Guess they are just cheapo's where they have saved money by not including a label side.
Thanks Daniel.

Ya, I've had spindles of CD'S like that too, they work just fine.

I never label my stuff apart from using a felt pen, so, as long as I don't write on the wrong side they will be fine.
Read somewhere that you could check the stock of blank DVD's on your PC but I can't remember how or whether it works with blank CDs.
They'll more than do what I need 'em for.
Thanks guys

I've seen double-sided CDs, even used one once, and very confusing they are too !!
Some El Cheapo single-sided CDs have no writing surface, and that's probably what you have on your hands there...

Many things confuse me so it is a normal day at the office.
