Security Essentials doesn't mind it.
Looked on the HD and there seems to be two of 'em.
I think I'll keep my trusty delete finger firmly in my pocket at my last fiasco.

OK, grab the trial version of NOD32 and run it. If you're lucky then it should get rid of the infection for you. What do you currently have running as an anti-virus and firewall?
LOL @ 'high maintenance'. You'll never equal my girlfriend!

I gather she doesn't watch the forum.
That bit of kit you suggested "Process Explorer" says it's part of a fileshare app.
I'm using windows standard Firewall, AVG A/V spyware etc. And MS Security Essentials.
Have zapped Sisoft Sandra and the machine is now running faster.
Am running every A/V app I have, one after another, just to make sure.
Still flummoxed by Google not knowing the name. Unless it generates it's own name on every machine.
augie, you and your lady have a great weekend.
Thanks to ALL the other guys too.
Check out the Process Explorer........ Uber Nifty
