Screen of death.
I was able to complete everything without a hitch until I went to install XP. It took three or four tries to boot of the DVD, then after all the setup files loaded, I got the dreaded blue screen saying it was shutting down.
I have a Dell E1705 with an 80GB hard drive. I shrunk the C, which only has Vista and Office on it, then created the D using the above steps.
I also have 10GB which are unallocated and when I attempt to allocate them, I get an insufficient memory error. Any clues?
Thanks
Chris
