I am sure it is a matter of combinations of hardware and software but, I have had a large number of issues with RC1. Some of my hardware did not install automatically, although it has done before. Some of my software, which again has always been no problem in previous releases, would not install in RC1.
My internet connection was a little slower than normal and all in all, changing between programs generally was a mite slower. I ran it for about two hours and then went back to 5536, which I have been running as my main OS for some time.
