Pentium 3.4 Extreme Edition with 2M L2 cache, GIGABYTE "GA-8ANXP-D" board, Nvidia 6800 Ultra 256M DDR3 (PCI Express), 1 gig CORSAIR XMS2 Pro Series (DDR2) PC5400, 2 WD Raptor 70 gig hd's, Pioneer 16x DVD burner, Aspire Turbo (black) with a 400 Watt Power Supply. All cooled with a Thermaltake Aquarius III Liquid Cooling System. With this I could easily up the core voltages and push the 4 Ghz realm ;)

Ah...
Like a 3.4 ghz P4
3GB of ram
Linux Mandrake 10
2 ultra quiet fans
One 80 GB Harddrive(I can barely fill up half of that.)
PNY nVIDIA Quadro FX3000 Video Card, 256MB DDR
Onboard sound(ha ha)
FireWire frontal ports
8 USB ports (2 frontal, 5 in the back, 1 internal)
21" LCD moniter
Oh, and a good old CD-RW drive.

Since we are Dreaming...

My machine would be..
An ALZX2500....An ASUS mobo that uses Fiber optic traces instead of copper wires. An onboard sub neural network will be controlling the 20 THz system bus between the semi organic neural net CPU and connecting devices..

The HDD a solid state 200 Terabytes Western Digital T2000 with a transfer speed of 500Gbits per sec

Main system memory will be incorporated into the CPU running at full core speed ( 100 THz )

The Display, a Sony HDHD ( High Defination Holographic Display ) that projects it's image in any three dimensional space within a 10 foot radius of the system unit.

I wish I could finish this dream but you get the idea........
