The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Summit Entertainment's blockbuster motion picture based on the second of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novels, will be available in Region 1 (R1) on DVD and Blu-ray on Saturday, March 20. As with the release of Twilight on home video last March, which went on to become the top-selling DVD of 2009, the unusual Saturday sale date will allow retailers to throw release parties at midnight on Friday, March 19. The discs will officially be available for purchase at 12:01 AM.

The suggested retail price of the DVD is $32.99 and the Blu-ray is $34.99. Presale date is January 26. The two-disc special edition includes the following Special Features:

* A six-part documentary that takes you behind the scenes
