I see that microsoft has chosen this years E3 industry fair to show off its flash online plans for the xbox. Xbox live is set to launch in the U.S. this autumn, and the xbox live starter kit will cost about $50. this will include a communicator headset and a 12 month subscription to the service. Xbox live depends on the gamer having a broadband connection, and microsoft is expecting 22 titles to be ready for online gaming by the time of the launch, and more than 50 by the end of the year. Launch titles include Counter-strike and unreal championship. Microsofts rivals in the games console world,Sony (playstation2) and Nintendo (gamecube) also intend to start online gaming services in the autumn. info (www.microsoft.com/xbox). I thought this might be of interest to some of you, and i wonder when they go online if they will now bring the price of their xbox down once again.

I think Microsoft's pricing is extremely unfair. In Finland the recommended price for it is 325

Halo Next?

Postby Weaver on Sat Jul 13, 2002 1:09 pm

Has anyone heard anything about the next release of Halo. I have heard rumors, I guess you could call them that about a revision of Halo coming out with added internet play for the Box, just wondering what anyone has heard.

The primary purpose of the DATA statement is to give names to constants; instead of referring to pi as 3.141592653589793 at every appearance, the variable PI can be given that value with a DATA statement and used instead of the longer form of the constant. This also simplifies modifying the program, should the value of pi change.
