windows xp does not work

windows xp does not work

Postby RyanB » Wed Oct 07, 2009 5:32 pm

I have installed two hd drives on my computer, one with vista and one with xp... I then installed the Vistabootpro 3.3 software... I was able to go through the process of booting up vista and not xp... I was unable to boot xp because of the NTLDR error.. I was able to fix this error by copying the files I needed into the proper location. When I go to boot up xp it no longer says the NTLDR error and goes to boot, but then goes right back to the main boot screen where I have to choose between booting vista and xp... Please any help as what I can do to fix this... I have tried a few things but none have worked.... I need to get this working asap for work.... Please any help would be appericated...

Try the guide below. Remember you have to have the boot.ini set properly.
