Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition as a Desktop OS

Is there a System Restore in Server 2003?
@ Start/ Programs/ Accessories/ System Tools/ System Restore

I am curious as it is gone (or removed?) in Windows Home Server which still has several references to Server 2003 throughout, even in the Help & Support!

It's not present in Server 2003 Enterprise JD, and probably also not in Small Business Server 2003 on which Windows Home Server is based.

Checking around in it, the closest I get to system restore is ASR

Generally I think Server OS systems rely on full system backups or RAID configurations which auto provide full system backups

Scratching around a bit more, I find this when going to gpedit.msc via the run dialogue box:

Thank you for that Graham
That answers that question why there is no System Restore in Windows Home Server.

Since the WHS Team is asking for suggestions for v.2 mayby (?) System Restore will be added then, maybe not...

Graham this is a policy to be applied on clients not for the OS itslef. In another thread you had I pointed you to a guide that allows you to enable both system restore and games onto W2003 but you will also need the XP CD.
