Windows 7 Anti-Virus

Windows 7 Anti-Virus

So far I've only tried avast! Home Edition which is free. Perhaps it's not the most highly rated anti-virus software out there but it works great on Windows 7 32-Bit.

Yeah, I used it throughout the Vista Beta program...because it installs and works :yesnod:

I can't remember if it runs on 64-Bit?

I don't remember either, it has been a while since I logged into my Windows 7 X64, I'll have to do that tomorrow and see what anti-virus, if any, I am running on it.

I like Avast! for rigs with >512MB RAM and ALL x64 rigs........... which "SHOULD" have more RAM than that....... :whistle

Other than that, I have had great success with Avira (Antivir) which always scores pretty high on the "in the wild" stuff....

NOD32 2.7 is working fine on 32-bit. It was working on Vista x64, normally it should work on the 64-bit version of Win 7
I was planning to try tomorrow at the office Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations.
I didn't have any problem with Vista either 32-bit or 64-bit version
