There has been several Insider updates &-or leaks since my last post.
The latest leaked last Friday 10/2/2015, it is build 10558 x64 PRO, no x86 flavor leaked.

This one has several cosmetic & application changes, I just finished installing it in Hyper-V (Win8.1 x64 host).
The install was the typical new graphics & took 33 minutes after I hit the "install" button.

Today Microsoft made update Build 10565 th2 available to those insiders w/ their build updates set to the "Fast Ring".

The install took the (old) test rig here 45 minutes to complete once the preparation was over.
Naturally I ran disk cleanup & recovered 10+ GB of space too.

Edit: Microsoft made .ISOs available for this build today. One can download them at: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... previewiso

Edit 2: This build is now available to those w/ "Slow Ring" update settings :yesnod:

MS has released Windows 10 Th2 RTM this AM.
I got my copies (x86 & x64) from
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /techbench

Still haven't burned (the ISOs) or upgraded the Windows 10 Th1 RTM I have installed yet though.

Earlier today I used the MS media creation tool to snag copied of the above x86 & x64 & they both are combined into 1 ISO that is 5.48GB, so if not using a Dual Layer DVD you will probably download the USB flash drive copy.

Edit: I updated my Windows 10 Th1 to Th2 today going the WU route.
After the download, preparing & configuring the update install took 50 minutes on the test rig.
I even got my 16-bit app working on Windows 10 now, where it failed every time previously.

Summary:
I did an in-place upgrade on my Windows 7 x86 Main to Windows 10 Th2 as the Win7 Main OS was slowing down after several years since the last clean install.

Going this route I really didn't have to do anything. Click, click, install and it was up and running & the applications, data and settings were carried over through the migration, even the 16-bit app is working.

Now I have Windows 10 as a Main OS on my Main Rig & am totally stoked it was so easy.
