I will be looking for new reviews for the "Chairman's Choice" award each Friday I hope; at least one award a week (which I remind you all is worth 5 points). The Officers and Vice Officers can hand out the "Editor's Choice" award at any time (worth 1 point each).

I will be including news posts, reviews, etc in my award choices.

The "Editor's Choice" award is given for reviews ranking from "above standard" to a rank of "good" for newsposts, stories, etc. The "Editor's Choice" award is worth a SINGLE (1) Review Point. Award given at the sole discretion of the Officers and/or Vice Officers, including the Chairman.

The "Chairman's Choice" award is given for reviews ranking as "superior" and "excellent," again for newsposts, stories, etc. The "Editor's Choice" award is worth five (5) Review Points. Award given at the sole discretion of the Chairman, John C. Derrick.

I think the bold is somewhat confusing, as it is the has the same words as the italic. The bold better would be 'Chaiman's Choice" instead of "Editor's Choice". I though this was better to read (Remember my knowledge of the English Language isn't always good in pracite...)

You are right... and I mistakenly did that. Thanks!!

Also, do you all find Editor's Choice as too confusing? Eric suggested it might imply "products" only... where as the awards is given on the message not the product itself.

Maybe "Officers Choice"... or
Or something that makes clear it isn't the product, but the post that is your choice...

How about:

"Chairman's Writing Award"
"Editor's Writing Award"

That certainly makes it clear that it is for the post and not the product. :roleeyes

I do like that... I'll see if that'll fit on the award ;)

We do proofread and rewrite (if necessary for grammar) portions of reviews. So jump in! ^*^
