Which main page layout?
If you curse at CSS long enough, it actually does work
Nevermind about voting now... I've settled on this:
www.hawaiianstyle.org as my layout.
Thanks guys

I never uploaded it after I switched over. Sorry about that.
I've since moved the domain to "HawaiianStyle.org" but the three links and layouts are still valid as of tonight.
I got the drop down li idea from some other website. I didn't even know you could do that until I saw it there. Getting it to work in IE6 was a b*tch. I had to use javascript to do it, but ONLY in IE6. It works by default in IE7 and FF.

Well as far as the li thing goes, there's two things I'm doing here, both of which are kinda neat (I'd never done it before myself).
First is that for buttons I'm actually telling the "mouse over" buttons to appear UNDER the normal buttons. This way all the images I need are already loaded, one on top of the other. I simply then tell the grayed out image to "hide" when I mouse over, thus revealing my "mouse over" image.
The drop down navigation feature is pretty well summed up here:
http://www.tanfa.co.uk/css/examples/menu/tutorial-h.asp
I just hacked some code I found to make it work for me. I do the same with phpbb.
In fact, except for 2-4 pages, that ENTIRE site is actually a phpbb forum.
