What is Zimbra???????

Postby yeshuas on Thu Jul 02, 2009 8:56 am

My wife received some emails from where she works, and when I go to try and print one in particular, I get a message asking if I want to continue running scripts on the page. Whether I answer yes or no it locks up I.E. sorta I can open a new tab but won't let me close the email without using Task Manager and then it comes up with the usual message asking whether I want to start a new session or restart the one I had. Afer opening a new tab it won't let me go back to the tab that has the email on it. I hope some is familiar with Zimbra and know of a solution, perhaps uninstalling I.E 8 and going back to I.E. 7 will solve it.

I would kill the process in taskman and be done with it. It doesn't sound right to me.

It's an email client owned by Yahoo as far as I can make out.

I'd rather go with the suggestion of Algis if you don't know how it got there though :yesnod:

Even stopping it in Task Manager doesn't really help, it does the I.E. restart thing as I said.

I downloaded Safari and when I went to Comcast email and opened up the email to print it like I did with I.E. 8 it said I needed to download a plugin associated with MIME, Shockwave flash, which I did and then it printed the email fine, no issues so I will try to update Shockwave plugin in I.E. 8 and see if that helps

Ok even downloading the Adobe Flash Plugin didn't fix it in I.E. 8 so I guess I am stuck using Safari, or maybe trying to do as I said, Disable I.E. 8 and using I.E. 7.

I checked out Maxthon a little and it appears to me to be another browser, or am I wrong.
