what is dynamic disk?
what is dynamic disk? how is it different from basic formatted disk? what is the command in dos of xp to basic format a newly attached hdd.
also tell me are all USB drives or externally attached dynamic drive ?
and if i install OS on HDD with machine having diff processor and mainboard than the one in which HDD is originally going to be installed // would that work ?

Re: what is dynamic disk?
I would suggest googling difference between basic and dynamic. As for the command to format a disk dynamic here ya go
Open a command prompt and type diskpart.
At the DISKPART prompt, type list disk. Make note of the disk number you want to convert to dynamic.
At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>.
At the DISKPART prompt, type convert dynamic.
as for your last question, if OS is installed on different MB and CPU when put in another system, you will have to install drivers for new MB, if programs are installed before moving they will not work probably in new system
