hello everyone.. i am trying to create a web site but i have a problum i dont know anything becides BASIC html code. i need to find good software. also i am trying to find a free domain name or domain forworder that i can use to forword to my win server 03 domain

ok i got the dns redirection from no ip. also you mentiond front pae. would that be better to use then visual studio?

dude, no-ip is free...

try NVU for the creation of webpages. it keeps the code relatively clean so you can open it up and understand whats going on.

No-ip is free if you create a sub domain using one of their numerous domains as the main domain ie: yourname.no-ip.com. You can then point that sub domain to your home computer's ip address (they also have dynamic DNS if you don't have a static IP address. Depending upon your ISP though, you may have to use an alternate post because many isp's block the default port. You should also read your ISP agreement, as many ISP's prohibit running web servers and will cancel your account if you get caught running one

wow that sucks but were about to luse are adelphia cable internet. so hopefully qwest (sbc Global) will be better but is the dinamic dns free... also i am running windows server enterpise so cant i just set up my own dns?

oh s*** well how about that cool thank you. but now im having truble how do i host it is it off no-ip or do i have to make a dns server.. or what do i do now?
