ok got the list downld acrobat again so i can view...i try your suggestion and take one pc of ram out..

ok i m back i took one pc ram out so now i m on 1gb and i got a pci video card lets see if tis works

Hi

Have you solved your problem yet?

I'm having the same problem. Works fine til shutdown, then won't boot (it doesn't even show the progress bar). Just stays black,

My mobo is an Asus P5GC-MX/1333, with an Intel C2D E8400 and 2 1GB Kingston DDR2/667.
Completelly different combination for the same insanity...

I've thought about never shutting down, but... :whistle

hi sorry to hear u hv the same problem as me
as for me ihv given up and reckoon the m/b is faulty
try changing the ram..could be the problem
it was the last thing i was goin to do..

anyway if i can help let me know
try vistaproboot or *stolen software reference*
they will show your boot configuraation
did u dual boot with xp or just vista...

black screen cos cant find the operating system
try boot frm dvd and repair with windowss tool
u can find how to rebuild bcd on mircrosfoft tech help
just type in search rebuild bcd
