Yeah, works perfectly for me, but doesn't it turn DWM off? Well, even the beta one does that anyway. Nothing we can do about it - for now. *Goes back to 5.0*

Macromedia Flash will work in any x64 OS, provided though, that you are running a 32bit browser so that the control can load in the 32bit emulation that is required. Since they still don't have a 64bit flash player, and probably won't for some time, you can't use flash in any 64bit browser. I just tested this out by opening 32bit IE and flash works fine in it after it is installed, and I'm sure that it would also work in 32bit firefox, although I'm using the 64bit build, which works fine.

Has anyone found an AntiVirus program that installs and runs in X64 yet?

Avast 4.6 and 4.7 do not work in X64 :-?

eTrust Antivirus r7.1 (NOT EZ Antivirus)

Not only does it work, but it's actually 64-bit software :yesnod:

It's a b*tch to install, you need to do it in 2k3 compatibility mode ; then download manually the upgrades ; install them manually in 2k3 compat mode ; then reboot etc.

But eTrust AV r7.1 is still the only AV that doesn't interfere at all with Aero or with other core Vista features... ;)

Solution To Working MSN Messenger 7.5 and Live Messenger 8.0 Beta in Vista 5365 (should work in any build)

Install Chosen Version

Remove all entries in Windows Firewall (should be 2)

Use Add Program, Then Browse and add the following 3 .exe files in the MSN Messenger folder to the Firewall's allowed list.

msncall.exe msnmsgr.exe msvs.exe

You should now be able to sign into Messenger with no problems, tried on 5365, 5342 and 5308 on several diff machines.

Works for me anyhow.
