The World Premiere of <em>Dance of the Dead</em> took place Sunday night at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival. It appeared that I wasn't the only one who was highly anticipating this film. As <a href="http://www.pronetworks.org/forum/story101601.html" target="_blank">I'd written in a preview here last week</a>, this 'Round Midnight selection from director Gregg Bishop looked like a surefire winner. The line around the block reflected the early buzz surrounding the film and there was not an empty seat in the house.

<em>Dance of the Dead </em>truly blew me away. It's a groundbreaking combination of high school mayhem and zombies -- think John Hughes meets John Carpenter meets George Romero. I'll have my review posted soon, along with pictures of the Q&A and my interview with lead actors Greyson Chadwick and Jared Kusnitz.

This exclusive video interview with Jared was shot immediately following the World Premiere. He had two films here at SXSW, a rarity and just one more indication that this young actor will be on your radar soon, if he's not already.
