I just made a site for a friend of mine who has his own business and now i want to implement a system for data input so that he can update his site whenever he wants without having to bother me everytime for it.
Understand?Something like a form where he can type in the desired text and that this is the text displayed on the site.
I really hope that someone can give me advice about this cause i really don't know how to handle this problem.I'm willing to learn PHP and sql and al that sort of things but i need a good oppinion about a webprogrammer that knows how to begin with this kind of stuff if you're a newbie :embarrassed:

maybe you could just put simple java commands like loadpicture="picture.jpg" and loadtext="text.txt".

than he would have to change only the graphics and text files.

You could put a fram in the area with content so the code would be
Code: Select all
<frame src="text.txt" name="Main Page" frameborder="NO"  border="0" framespacing="no" scrolling="auto">

This way all he has to do is put the inso int he farams and if u have many tds, than just make a txt file and put a fram in each table data...

the guy i made the site for has NO knowledge of html or webpages and barely knows how to search google if you know what i mean.
I'm basically searching for an admin sort of page where the data can be entered trough the meanings of some simple forms.If he wants to add new links,he should just type in the url and submit it and the page will have the new links in it.See what i mean?No hassling with href and html.
Hope someone can help me
