Re: Microsoft Ads for Apple/Mac (Video)
Actually I've always wondered whether the Windows kernel is Unix based, like Mac is.
Re: Microsoft Ads for Apple/Mac (Video)
They have to all be somewhat similar or based on the same kernel because all the OS's ( linux, MAC and Windows) all use the same hardware

Yeah, looks like MS was very quick to clamp down on Lindows. It's named Linspire now as far as I can make out.

Just saw an ad for Best Buy offering 3 computers, with preinstalled Window 7, a Laptop, a Desktop, and a Netbook with a wireless router for $1149

Re: Microsoft Ads for Apple/Mac (Video)
It was interesting to look at the history of AD's. Funny thing is, I might be the only one who likes Vista. I am running 64 bit with quadcore and 8gig. It runs bulletproof. I was suspicious of the Apple ad where they made note of improvement over previous versions of Windows. I never remember seeing any ads like like from MS over the years. I am glad this vid pointed that out.
Re: Microsoft Ads for Apple/Mac (Video)
It is sad I'm just now getting to watch this.
I say it is all in preference and of course what you can afford.
I have both PC and Macs. They both have there places in life.

Re: Updated: Microsoft Ads for Apple/Mac (Video)
Top of the thread updated with a personal punt for Apple by Bill Gates. These two have a wonderfully enduring friendship and respect for each other, despite the differences they've had over the years.
