There are two very good add-on programs that can help you understand the ZoneAlarm log file. The first is VisualZone from www.visualizesoftware.com . This free program is an intrusion analyser for ZoneAlarm and ZoneAlarm Pro.
It displays a clear view of all attempts to gain access to your computer and allows you to analyse the information in lots of ways. The second program is ZoneLog Analyser, which imports the ZoneAlarm log file into its own database. You can then perform a detailed analysis of all the access alerts ZoneAlarm has thrown up. This program is free from www.zonelog.co.uk and if you register it you also get free upgrades.
