geeze, I know it's still a ways off, but for me this is the map path I do NOT want to see (I am in the red circle)

On a side note, gas stations here already have lines - people filling up gas cans, generators, etc

I hate to say it Jeff, but I've looked over all the models and if I had to guess right now, I'd say the panhandle or further east is where it'll land. I think it's going to get "pushed" back east some before landfall.

Well, since I'm in the GSO area of NC, looks like we could get a bit of much needed precip out of this one........... My lawn is pretty dried out/burnt right now............lol

NOAA says if it speeds over Cuba fast enough, it could gain enough strength between Cuba and Florida to reach Cat3 status.

I'm thinking it won't exactly "speed" over Cuba, especially if it hits those mountains............. we'll see
