TROPICAL DEPRESSION 14 ??

Postby kanaloa on Mon Aug 29, 2005 3:02 pm

NOAA'S 2PM DISCUSSION SAYS THE FORMATION OF THIS STORM IS, 'LIKELY WITHIN 24-48 HOURS.' THAT IS MUCH STRONGER A SUGGESTION TOWARDS THE FORMATION OF A SYSTEM THAN NORMAL. HERE'S THE LATEST IR IMAGE OFF THE COAST OF AFRICA.

The Accuweather guy Joe b*stard thinks so and he says High pressure is building in the east so this is going to Florida or the Gulf again.

EDIT: Hmmm..... It thinks Joe's name is a swear. It is not even spelled the way it is showing up. It's B,a,s,t,a,r,d,i and it shows Joe b*stard.

NOAA/NHC say it could be TD 14 soon.

THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 1500 MILES EAST OF THE LESSER
ANTILLES CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION AS IT MOVES TO THE
WEST-NORTHWEST. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME A
TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS UPPER-LEVEL
WINDS BECOME MORE CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT.
