Today it was 111 F in Las Vegas, and it is forecast to exceed 113 F for the next 5 days. The NWS posted a severe weather warning for SE California, Death Valley, and Southern Nevada to expect record breaking heat.

Whew! It was only 105F in Sacramento today.........

Yeah it got an even 100F today with a tornado warning in the evening. Typical day. If it's already 100 now, I don't even want to think of mid August :no

We got 33 degrees yersterday after the rain and we're expecting 38 on Sunday , Monday and Tuesday.

The good thing for us though is that we have northern winds blowing at 6 Beaufords and even at 38 or 40 it feels like 30 to 32 plus no humidity.

110 here today, and to be 115 tomorrow, quite hot..... but this has humidity at like 90+ percent. in twentynine Palms the heat was dry, this is just wet heat... lol I liked the dry heat better.

I'm assuming that in Celsius right? Over here its topped out at about 85F (that's about 30C)

Hi,

The beauty of Pacific Coast weather is that when it's hot, the humidity is low; when the humidity is high, it's cool. Good old Japanese current. Of course, there are a few exceptions, but when you get out to 29 Palms, Barstow, Vegas, Death Valley, it's just plain bake your brains hot.

Forecast to reach 105
