The good thing for us though is that we have northern winds blowing at 6 Beaufords and even at 38 or 40 it feels like 30 to 32 plus no humidity.

It's amazing how some thing can be written in the same language and I understand none of it.

EDIT: Also the temps here are 83

87 here with a 6 degree heat index. so humid out that my glases fog everytime i go from AC to outdoors. Funny thing in my car too, when the compressor shuts off for my AC quickly it starts sending visible vapor through the vents. GD its humid and it even poured for a while yesterday with no relief.

OMG it's so hot here too!! High of 94 with heat index of 102...I swear the humidity has to be 150% :confused (j/k of course) but I have no air conditioning in my car so I feel like I soft boil myself everyday to and from work

One of the funniest things I've ever witnessed was the panic of a People's Republic of China, PRC, army officer who panicked when the air conditioning was turned on in a flight from Guilen to Canton(Guangzhou). The plane was a high wing, 2 engine, commuter plane like a Fairchild aircraft that was used in the US for a while. On the ground the plane got thorougly heat and humidity soaked, and the pilot turned on the a/c full force when we were airborne. A dense fog came out of the overhead air vents, and one could believe that something terrible was happening if one was prone to do so. This guy jumped up and walked swiftly toward the front of the plane singing a mantra, maybe a prayer. The air began to clear as he approached the cockpit door, and he turned and walked sheepishly back to his seat. He did chant his mantra all during the flight much to the chagrin of some of us.
