Possibly there is no clear "standard" for this hardware firewall technology, I don't really know for sure. I do know that a few years ago, I was wondering why mfrs. couldn't include a hardware firewall on a MOBO since they include serial ports, video and audio.................. I mean, how much trouble would it be to include this feature?? Possibly an extra chipset or something............
I'm not using it, as I dont have a hardware firewall, but the title is sorta misleading
So it cant be the ultimate firewall
Q: Is AntiHook a firewall?
A: No, AntiHook is not a firewall. AntiHook is an Intrusion Detection and Prevention resident system and its major goal is to protect your privacy and applications from Spyware, Code injection, Trojans and Keyloggers. In addition AntiHook provides fine granular application isolation and lets you monitor and control all suspicious activities and detect them as they happen.
So it cant be the ultimate firewall

And correct me if I'm wrong, but you DO have a hardware firewall. Your wireless router is an example.
aight guys... Its bed time 4 me... 4:50 am....
Oh yea, forgot that was a firewall too.... might give it a try later then

I know, but do i really want to do that ? It is trying to access the wrong API's and adding files in highly secure dirs. Not saying it's a bad app but until they get it certified by winsrv, i'll be fine without it
Can someone post a screenshot of it's advcanced settings if it has anything of that nature ?
