The Story of India

Postby augie on Tue Jan 06, 2009 3:26 pm

I caught the first two hours of this beautifully shot and historically intriguing view of India's origins and religious beliefs and how they started in a world context including the Greek and Persian influences! I learnt a lot about the culture that I did not know even though I studied Buddhism for a fair while. If it's airing in your area then catch it, I highly recommend it!

It was one of my best insomniacal ridden nights ever as this was re-aired at 2AM! I'll certainly be watching the next episodes. :yesnod:

I really like the Hindu/Vedic culture and religions :yesnod: In my opinion they're way more enlightened on basic life issues like friendliness, compassion, impartiality and an understanding of natural law
