The Life and Times of El Nino

Postby augie on Sun Jul 02, 2006 5:26 pm

Wow, this program is on our CBC Newsworld channel and it just blew me away of how much history was changed by mega El Ninos. The historic death of the Sumerian city Ur in Mesopotamia 4000 years ago, the extinction of the Moche civilization in Peru in 650 AD and probably more as I missed part of the show. These events were confirmed by ice cores. It will be repeated tomorrow at 3AM so I'll try and fire up my VCR, hasn't been used in a long time. There's so much info on there that I'm missing alot in this post. Oh, it was released last year by the BBC.
