I seem to be missing my "Sound", "System", and "Desktop properties" from my Control Panel... Any ideas on how to get them back?

Also, I can't burn a CD using XP. I installed the NERO Demo and I successfully burned a cd using that. The error I get with XP is " Please insert a blank, writable CD into Drive G:\, or insert a disc with enough free space to hold all of the files you selected for writing to CD"...

Ok... I have a blank, 700 MB RW in the drive. This RW was formatted with Nero (Full Erase). I (just now) told it to write the install for diskeeper lite to the CD... This file is only 10012 kb... 700 MB should be plenty...

* I'm wondering if a certain 6 year old was playing with the system again...

Thanks!

(I've tried 'removing' the RW unit from the system and rebooting... That didn't fix the problem. It just added the drive again)

Download TweakUI from MS. It has a utility that will let you select the hidden control panels.
