i wanted an internet security software - b/c the norton dies on me sometimes.

i installed Sygate Personal Firewall - let me know how that software is..

good/bad

I hear Sygate Personal Firewall is one of the best... Personally I use Windows OneCare, but I hear Sygate is way better, and more flexible.

how does windows onecare works?

me neither..... i used to use it, but honestly, as of right now, not only dont i have any firewall, i also have no anitvirius.. Im just carefull, and use ad-aware.. and it doesnt matter, ms knows your site list anyway...

yeah - me too.

i only have the Sygate Personal Firewall and im behind a firewall. just feeling secure.

need a good av program..

I use sygate all the time. I love it. It does what its supposed to, and has other features like backtrace and all. Of course, I dont have the symantec version (i dunno if its even out yet). I have 5.5. It's great!

I recommend Sygate to everyone. Its simple to use, very efficient, and has some great features as already mentioned.
