OK I have a question.

Does the regular $12 price have auto-renew? Because that alone would drive me away, from the ad-free browsing deal, since it would not end up being my paypal account this first initial time and even if it was my account I don't like the idea of any thing happening to my account with out my approval first.

Yes PayPal uses the auto renew feature. But it also has the feature to cancel. So technically you could sign up, wait a few months and then cancel. Your subscription will remain valid until the one year date. We have a spreadsheet we track all of that in. We prefer folks just wait and cancel before it renews (if they even want to), but we'll do it the way I described above also. The renew feature just makes it easier for everyone... no reminders, no switching accounts back bc someone forgot, etc.
