Sweet, I hope I can find a way to pay for the yearly subscription.

My birthday is coming up so maybe my mom will let me use her paypal to pay for it. I really hate the intellitext ads and they have really turned me off of here a lot lately. I've avoided coming here some since they were implemented because they make the site so slow for me.

Good idea but, as a pensioner who has to watch the old outlay, what was the donation I made in June for?

All donations usually go towards server/domain costs directly. Occasionally they'll go towards an upgrade, as they did a few months ago when we boosted the server to 2GB of RAM.

So if we have made a donation within this past year for $12 or over, does that include us for this offer or do we have to make a separate contribution?

Since our record keeping for this service will begin on the 10th, it'll be a separate service. However if users have donated within the past year, they can forward the receipt to us and we'll set it up so that their subscription started on the date of their donation.

ie.

If you donated $25 on November 25, 2005, your "No-Ads" subscription would be valid until November 25, 2006.

Good thinking on bringing that up! :yesnod:

And what would be the best way for someone to send this receipt? Is there a certain email you would like people to use?
