I cannot stand Ads at all... very annoying...

Correct. The group that exists right now is simply for the initial discount I'll be offering for the sign up. All users in this group will automatically be switched to "No-Ads" on the 10th. You will then have 7 days to take advantage of the special discount rate.

After that if you haven't subscribed you will be moved back to the stardard site layout with Ads, and the discount will dissapear.

So you'll all have a trial of 7 days if you want it.

As per the terms, this affects EVERYTHING inside the forum directory. Currently that doesn't include the front pages. However I am working very hard to include them and will in the near future. But everything inside the forum, including viewstory, will be 100% ad free.

I stopped going to the front page a lonnggg time ago... My bookmark takes me straight to the Forum Index.(Got tired of the popup on the front page)

Popup's shouldn't occur on the front pages anymore. Those should have been nocked out during the v20 upgrade.

lol... shows you how long ago I stopped going to the front page... didn't realise the aggravating popups were gone...

I hope to fully remove them completely (even from the non-Ad version) within another month. I'll have to wait and see how the new Ads we use turn out, and what kind of responce this program gets.

It's one thing to keep the site alive hosting wise... it's another to make it grow. That takes a lot of resources. But we've made a lot of progress lately, so let's hope that continues.

I know what you mean... I host many sites and personally run a few, and know all about the fine balance between what is needed to survive versus what is needed to grow.

Yeah, and the two sites I run now are worlds apart. What works for one doesn't always work for the other as I'm sure you've learned. Each site has it's own "personality" almost.
