We sincerely hope you all find this new service useful. All of our internal (pronetworks.org) domains, including staff web mail, etc, can now be accessed securely. Users are encouraged to surf the site using SSL in any unsecured location and at any time they are using a public network. SSL at PROnetworks provides additional protection for your account.

Thanks & Enjoy,

The Management

If you are visiting and stop at a computer system that is open to the public such as the shopping mall or something and you want to check out Pro. It would be an advantage to surf via SSL so it would be less likely for somebody to steal your information.

Well, hmm... I guess if you're at a hotel or something, you can make sure that nobody intercepts anything you send by packet sniffing or anything.

It also protections your session data. It would take someone pretty smart to hack your account, but in public places these days you can never been to careful. I would highly suggest folks use it on any public network, like schools, colleges, coffee shops, etc.

It's just an added layer of security to keep your account here safe. It also comes in handy when doing any kind of transaction with PRO and/or with PayPal.
