Sorry Guys, I am all hummed-out.
I am still sitting here, headphones clamped round my enraged head in complete silence.
HAVE disabled the onboard facility.
Was getting a "Found new Hardware" for S/B, don't have a disc so keep trying to let it load generic driver....BSOD. :bashhead
D/L Creatives driver from website, In my programmes list the "Creative Audio Controller" just brings up " The audio device supported by this application has not been detected" :enough:
"Sounds" in Control panel just says "No Audio Device" _-~~~
Device Manager mentions "audio Control Manager" under "sound" and that wants a driver but that's the one that the generic driver kills the machine. :emergency:
I haven't given up but AM feeling a bit frazzled at the mo.
You guys should send me an invoice for counselling. :embarrassed:
