Safari and iLife

Postby iMacDaddy on Mon Jan 13, 2003 1:11 am

I love the new Web Broswer Apple released at MacWorld.. Soo fast, nice and efficent.. Because Apple and Micrsoft's agreement has come to a end. I think Apple is going to make iLife ( www.apple.com/ilife to counter Micrsoft Office which I don't think Micrsoft will support anymore do to lack of sales and the end of there agreement..Interesting times ahead..

Safari is based off of Konqueror. A Linux browser. I have used this browser on my Drake box for months. I love it.... Mac is definately going the right direction with this. I am watching closely to see how it plays out.

I like safari but refuse to use it untill apple confirms it fixed one major issue - deleting files.

Safari has been known to replace your home directory with a downloaded file - untill Apple confirms a fix, I would reccomend not using it.

Apple confirmed it? The only "confirmation" I can find is a line on MacOS Rumors.
