Unfortunately you won't be able to remove the virus from the software that's located on the CD. What you can do, however, is copy it to your harddrive and clean it there. But be very careful not to execute it while it's on your HD.

Don't know that you can...I had a similar situation where Cdilla files were copied to my hard drive by some program from the net...Usually those files can kill your CD drive...In my case the CD's wouldn't open...Once I removed the files from the registry...I could open the CD's but the umm...unregistered programs were corrupt...Cdilla files are a product of MS for antipiracy.

Hang in there tho'...I may be wrong...hopefully someone will have a different answer for you... :cry:
