Reinstalling Windows XP when dual booting with Windows Vista

Postby sam4u » Fri Jun 13, 2008 5:13 am

Hi All,
Thanx for this nice topic! I am stuck in a problem where I lost the ability of booting into XP in a dual boot system with Vista.I made the dual boot system with the help of VBP in my Vista-preinstalled-laptop.Vista was pre-installed in drive :C and XP was later installed in drive :E ,where drive ':C'(Vista) is my system drive. As I can not even get into XP Safe mode, would it be wise to format the XP drive(:E) from vista and then reinstall XP in :E ?As per the discussion so far, it should go smoothly as my XP is not in the system drive.I had posted another thread for this problem, u can have a look at that--
Any help is highly appreciated..
Thanx
