On a fairly new (6 mo) Dell desktop, started getting screen freezes. Ran Registry Easy which found 2,700 items to remove -- got original speed back and no freezes since.

Since windows depends on the registry to start up and function properly, running any registry cleaner is pure dangerous. Do you think a third party program can be wrote to maintain the registry when we have 1000s of programs that use the registry.
