My laptop just froze. I could not shut it down any way except from the power button. Now when I turn it back on it gets stuck in an endless loop trying to get into Windows.

I get the Advance options screen:

1) Start Windows normally -- sends me back to the same screen
2) Last known good -- sends me back to the same screen
3) Safe mode -- starts to go into safe mode, doesn't get there, goes back to same screen

No matter what I do I end up back at the options screen.

Help!!!

That is another idea with the ram. Sometimes just changing something will stop the looping

Nope. :no I tried flipping the RAM around by swapping the modules from one side to the other -- then the laptop wouldn't even turn on. So I put them back where they were and now I am getting the same loop.

Can you get into the bios at all, or try removing just one of the sticks of ram and trying to boot

Trying one stick of RAM didn't change anything.

I keep getting to the Advanced options screen.

I can get into the BIOS.

How hard is it to get to the HD is the type that is removable from the underneath, if so maybe try to remove and reseat it.

The HD cover comes right off and it's easy to access but it won't come out unless you take most of side apart. There's a little arm that juts out which holds the screw and it prevents you from pulling out the HD.

I don't know what else to try other than taking out the battery like over night maybe. Unless you have the install disc and try a repair.
