purple-circle and steinom,

We have had several issues with this DLL file when DEP is fully enabled. Currently we are still working a fix for this. However, until we release a fixed version you can avoid this by following these steps:

Step 1: Right click on My Computer and goto Properties

Step 2: On the left side of the screen click on Advanced system settings

Step 3: In this screen under Performance, click on Settings

Step 4: In this screen goto the Data Execution Prevention tab

Step 5: Here you have two options
1. Select the option to turn on DEP for essential Windows Programs and then restart your computer

or,

2. Add VBP to the exception list and then restart your computer

Currently these are the two workarounds until we release an XPExplorerBar_Nat.dll free version. It should be out very soon so make sure you always check for updates.

HTH and Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the quick response jbullard. Your solution works a treat. It means that I have had to re-enable DEP but I can live with that. I'll keep checking the VistaBoot PRO for an update but in the mean time it's now working fine.
