Well, I finally decided on an Antec 500W P/S ATX12V V2.2 80MM P/S2 FAN 80-PLUS CERTIFIED as the gf is laid up with a bad back and is off from work for two weeks so I had to order it. At any rate, getting it locally would have cost me $25 more in total! I'm really glad I'm a patient person, otherwise :bashhead :enough:

This was not a happy build with the CoolerMaster 690 case. The I/O shield that ASUS supplied was too thick with padding to be able to install the mobo, so I left it out for now, and the HDD rack is sideways so one has to really bend the cables so that the side doesn't squash the ribbon cables. Also, the floppy tray doesn't have a screwless mount. Besides, I bloodied myself when taking the front and top off as the instructions were wrong.

Only good points are plenty of drive and extra fan space. Stay away from this case!
