Wow, I've been away from this thread for far too long! Here's a bit of Summertime from Janis to wake all of you up from the winter blues.:P A slightly different take.

In requiem to Jeff Healey who died last Sunday, this is his signature song.

You really are 'The Jazz Man'!

I can't even begin to come anywhere near your passion for the genre but I'm all ears!
Robin Trower is in London at the end of the month, think I'll try to get along. He was a big fav when I was @ school (long story, big giggle but you had to be there! )

Keep 'em coming pal, I'm all ears!

Wow, an interested person, finally! ^*^ It gets real lonely when one is the only one posting.:( Thanks for the compliment but it's really undeserved, I'm just someone who likes music other than the Top 40 of the day.;)

I love Robin Trower as you have rightly guessed, so I'll leave an offering of Bridge of Sighs

BTW, catch him if you can, he ain't getting any younger either.;)

Nope, I won't hear of it! the "Jazz Man" it is!

Spotted the cut of Janis abit further back, if memory serves she died on my birthday, yup! just Wiki'ed it, I was 9!

All my old vinyl is up in the loft ( CD's now I'm afraid) and when the kids were young and we had 3 cats my turntable was ****ed! :whistle

I nearly wore out RT Live when I was at school, think we all did! :notworthy Sad thing is, after I posted I checked the gig and its a sell out, not suprised.

I see your'e a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan, I saw him perform at the Reading Festival back in '83. Why on earth somebody would want to run their guitar up and down the steel edge of the stage puzzles me even now! :yahoo:

Robert Cray?, EPIC!, the 'Black Clapton', saw him at Hammy Odeon years ago and he brought the house down! :()

Too bad RT was sold out Dave.:(

I used to have a modest collection of about 100 LP's but my roommate ripped them off along with my dishes and anything else he could fit into a car. :-x I hope he's deaf now or choked on a piece of meat!

I still have about 30 albums from those days and a good turntable with a near brand new cartridge. I've since replaced most of them with CD's but there's still a few that I'd like record to CD.
